Ten West Espresso Company has hosted the Muse and
Music Performance on Friday nights for eight years—fifty shows
a year for the last three. From a small shop off the corner of Main
and Route 6, and then from the ashes of a fire that left a vacant
lot and a burned out building at 23 North Main, our homey home grew
into a community meeting house that sustains our series. People
come to listen, to support new and continuing acts. They don’t
just to grab a cup and go. They sit, they tap their feet—and
they sometimes even sing along!
You’ll often see regional and local favorites,
as well as new performers, and you can be part of an arts community
that contributes to their growth: it’s as easy as stopping
by.
Every show has time set aside for an open microphone
section, and this past year we’ve established regular, free,
outdoor shows, using Ten West’s boardwalk as stage and that
old parking lot as Mansfield’s finest outdoor venue.
Grab some great coffee, a chair and listen
to wonderful local poetry, music and literature. Our small rural
community is home to an amazing pool of talented folks.
