Nate and Kate
Fri, Feb 24, 2012

Nate & Kate refer to themselves as "Central New York's folk superheros", and we certainly cannot disagree. They deliver a mix of heartfelt modern folk songs, humor, and juggling that add up to a completely unique and dymanic show fit for old, young, and all in between. If you haven't seen these guys, you really REALLY need to! You will not be disappointed - stop on by and say 'hi!'

Christopher Bell
Fri, Mar 9, 2012
7:30 pm

Chris Bell's primary means of expression is a cello - now wait a minute before you THINK another thing! - this guy strums it like a uke, plays it like a bass, bows it like nobody's business, all done with amazing technical dexterity - he builds loops right in front of you and within seconds becomes his own backup band... it's totally amazing and something you have to see for yourself to believe. We are super-pleased to have Chris back and hope you can come along for the show - it'll be one great evening of music at the Fine Arts Forum!

Singer, songwriter, reedman and guitarist, Doug McMinn is a mainstay of the central PA music scene. McMinn has jammed with notables including Steve Miller, Lonnie Shields, Saffire, Townes Van Zandt, Peter Stampfel, Gary Lucas, Sonny Rhodes, ULU, Hypnotic Clambake and Queen Bee. Doug was a founder of the Billtown Blues Festival, where he has performed multiple times. Get the idea? This man EXUDES the blues, and we're really tickled to have him back gracing out stage. You like the blues? Check him out! Not sure you like the blues? Well... Doug's got some other tricks up his sleeve too, but you just might walk away thinking the blues, live and up-close, is really a lot like you feel inside, too. Please join us in welcoming Doug back to Mansfield!

One half of Nate and Kate is far, far better than no Nate and Kate at all!! Veteren wild-man, multi-instrumentalist and juggler extraordinare Nate Marshall is coming to do a solo show for us. Take it from us, the man is AMAZING! You'll hear a few familiar folk tunes along the way, but mostly you'll hear Nate doing Nate, which is guaranteed to be both entertaining and captivating. Dunno what else to say, be there or be square?... Just come on out and you'll leave feeling good.... it's that simple.
